Student Life & Wellness
MSU CVM is not only committed to you as a student but also as a person!
Our faculty and staff know veterinary school is a rigorous endeavor, and we are here to provide the support you need to successfully navigate the challenges it presents. In addition, our team of mental health professionals in our Office of Psychological Services offers special programs and services specifically for the benefit of our students.
At MSU CVM, you'll find the following and SO MUCH more:
- Supportive Community: Counseling services, skill development workshops, and a "Big Sib" and a faculty mentor are provided for all students.
- Focus on Well-being: We provide onsite access to a gym, food pantry, clothing closet, and fun activities help combat stress, encourage good health, and promote balance.
- Inclusive Environment: Four bulldog "houses" (similar to the Harry Potter houses) connect groups of students to encourage a family atmosphere and belonging.
- Something for Everyone: We offer clubs for virtually every clinical specialty, activities outside of the classroom for engaging with peers, and numerous fun "brain break" experiences.
You'll love being a part of the MSU CVM family, where ALL are welcome, and life is about much more than just being a veterinary student!
