Donors and friends of MSU CVM make a tremendous difference in the lives of animals and people!

Our faculty are training students and treating patients. Our researchers are working to discover solutions to the world’s problems. Our students are preparing to become the next generation of veterinarians. 

Much of this activity is made possible through the investments of those who support our mission of improving and protecting the health and quality of animal and human well-being. 

Donors help drive our success and provide funding for scholarships, faculty support, research, program support, and facilities.

• Advancing the College: We are constantly upgrading and expanding our facilities and offering new programs and services. There's a strong vision for our future, and our donors are a part of it!
• Supporting Future Veterinarians: Donors provide scholarships that ease the financial burden for veterinary students. Their contributions, large and small, add up to make a difference in our students' lives.
• Helping Animals in Need: Programs and services such as our nationally recognized shelter medicine program, Companion Animals Require Excellence (CARE) Fund, and others are supported by donors with a heart for making shelter animals more adoptable and ensuring sick or injured pets receive needed care.
• Encouraging Discovery: The future of animal and human health is directly impacted by research. Our donors help support scientists aimed at making the world a better place for all.
• Honoring Excellence: Donors help make it possible for our college to recognize and retain outstanding faculty instructors and clinicians.

Earning a veterinary degree is costly. We understand the financial burden students face, and with donor support, currently award more than $1M in scholarships annually to our students.
